    How dare he!, fumed Spain. He stalked away from the Nordic country, his blood seething. Spain was annoyed as hell, and it felt like everyone was after his daughter, the Phillippines! First, it was England, then America, and even Piri's own sibling, Japan! The Spainiard left the conference place with a heavy heart. Why couldn't they just leave his Piri-tan alone?
~At Piri's house~
    Spain went to Maria's house to talk to her. He combed a hand through his brown hair and knocked on her door. Maria opened the door,expecting America, and found Spain instead. "Papa Spain!", she exclaimed and she threw her arms around the Spainiard. "Mi hermosa~ How are you?", Spain replied, returning her hug.
"Just fine Papa, so what brings you here?", Maria asked. "Maria, I wanted to talk to you. It's about a young man.", Spain answered. Maria looked at him annoyed and said," For the last time Papa, Kuya America and I are just friends-"
~All of a sudden, America let out a sneeze. "*sniff* What was that?!", he exclaimed and he was filled with a sense of dread.~
"No, it isn't about that American idiot! But you know if he ever gives you trouble, know I still have my war axe.", Spain threatened with a menacing glare. Piri rolled her eyesand gestured to Spain to continue. "A-anyways, this guy I'm talking about, he's a Nordic. I went through some of his history and learned he used to be a Viking!", Spain said. "Do you mean Kuya Denmark?", she asked.
"Si! A vulgar, mannerless Viking! Can you beli-" Spain started.
"But Papa, you were a conqueror.", said Maria
"Not the point. The point is-"
"And you were also a pirate."
Spain went silent for a good five minutes and he narrowed his eyes. "Who told you that?!", the Spainiard asked, his voice barely covering the mostly anger, but some nostalgia. "Who do you think Papa?", asked Piri. Spain gritted his teeth," That damn English bastard! I'm going to rip his-"Maria pushed him out of her yard and told him," Okay, Papa you go do that!" and with that she shut her door and left her father fuming again, most likely plotting his revenge. Spain left his daughter's house and stalked off.
Maria sighed and thought, Thank goodness! The crisis with Kuya Denmark has been avoided for now. Maria learned that if she was ever going to make allies, even male ones, to keep them away from her overprotective Papa Spain. If that failed, she could just scold her father.... in public.
